The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is a regional economic forum established in 1989 to leverage the growing interdependence of the Asia-Pacific. This year San Francisco will be hosting presidents and government officials from such countries as China, Canada, Russia, Australia, Peru, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, and Thailand.
