On July 5, 2024, firefighters responded to a rapidly growing vegetation fire near Zaca Lake in Santa Barbara County. With an extensive amount of dry brush and high temperatures, the fire grew to a size of 29,000 acres and came extremely close to the famous Neverland Ranch. Once again, Cooke & Associates’ Critical Incident Response Team was called upon to support operations at various locations throughout Santa Barbara County with a response time of 3 hours.

This marks our 6th wildfire activation in California alone this year and we continue to average a 2-4 hour response time.
